• Uso de drones para lançamento de cabos da linha de transmissão, evitando o corte de mata nativa.
• Doação de uma área preservada de 237 hectares para ser agregada à Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Mata do Passarinho, único local em que é encontrado o Entufado-baiano, uma das espécies de aves mais ameaçada do planeta.
• Fortalecimento das comunidades quilombola (Paraguai e Córrego Santana) no entorno do empreendimento, com reformas, doação de equipamentos, melhorias no sistema de abastecimento de água, cursos educativos e construção de viveiros e oficinas para produção de mudas.

Understand the Environmental Licensing Process

The installation of a new transmission system can alter the natural landscape. Therefore, we conduct Environmental Impact Assessments to evaluate alternatives for preventing, reducing, and mitigating environmental impacts, such as searching for alternative areas for project installation.

With this perspective, we plan management actions that include defining mitigation measures, environmental control plans and programs, and initiatives to enhance positive impacts.

• Modification of the transmission line routes and substation locations to avoid interference with conservation areas or areas of interest for traditional communities;
• Elevation of towers and cable placement using drones to minimize the need for vegetation clearing;
• Technical management and oversight of contractors hired for construction and infrastructure services;
• Implementation of reforestation and forest restoration projects;
• Monitoring programs for local wildlife before, during, and after project implementation;
• Adoption of environmental programs to raise awareness among local communities and populations.
