The project will facilitate the implementation of renewable energy projects in the western region of Bahia and in Minas Gerais, with a special focus on wind farms and solar power plants. Additionally, it will enable the creation of new connection points in the areas where the substations will be built.
The project was acquired in lot 1 of Transmission Auction No. 01/23.
