ISA CTEEP LAUNCHES YOUNG APPRENTICE PROGRAM WITH POSITIONS EXCLUSIVELY FOR BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE
- Together with NGO Vocação, which encourages students to enter the job market, the company opened seven job positions
São Paulo, March 03, 2022 – ISA CTEEP, the largest private energy transmission company in the country, opened seven job positions for young apprentices, with a selection process aimed exclusively at black and brown people, completed in February this year. The selection of talents was carried out in partnership with NGO Vocação, which directs young people in social vulnerability to the job market.
The company selected people aged 16 to 24 who have already completed or are in their final year of high school. Candidates will work on-site at the company's headquarters in São Paulo. The job positions offer a grant in the amount of R$ 1,212; meal and food vouchers, which together total more than R$ 1,600; transportation vouchers; medical and dental plans; life insurance, among other benefits.
The Young Apprentice program will start on March 7 and will last 15 months, during which the youth will receive training and guidance for the world of labor market, through theoretical training and the development of behavioral skills, such as complex problem solving, decision making, creativity, emotional intelligence, among others.
There are many areas of activity, such as people development (HR), regulatory, and occupational health and safety. “In line with our goals as an employer brand and the expansion of our Outros Olhares Program, ISA CTEEP's Young Apprentice seeks to attract, develop and care for the best talents, while we see, in this inclusion process, an opportunity to diversify the corporate environment and increase the possibilities of innovative and plural results”, says Cristhiani Chitero, Organizational Talent Officer at ISA CTEEP.
NGO Vocação was the intermediary between the young people and the company, since it works to attract, develop, and strengthen the potential of people and communities to generate networking opportunities for social transformation. The first selection this year for young apprentices at ISA CTEEP covers the "Ethnic and racial" pillar of Outros Olhares program, launched in 2020 by ISA Group, which governs the company's diversity and inclusion strategy, as well as broadening discussions and awareness on the topic, through four pillars: gender equity; people with disabilities; LGBTI+ and ethnic-racial.
