New technologies
We invest in the use of new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Asset Renewal Plan
We conduct the Asset Renewal Plan under the supervision of ANEEL. With this plan, we direct efforts toward the modernization of the concession of Contract 059/2001, encompassing 14,600 kilometers of transmission lines and 110 substations in the state of São Paulo. These assets are essential for the operation of the National Interconnected System (SIN).
Criticality matrix
We use a criticality matrix to guide the strategy for modernizing and replacing equipment in transmission lines and substations. This tool allows us to weigh various indicators to assess risks and potential impacts in systemic, safety, financial, environmental, and reputational areas.
With this approach, we analyze the historical performance and failure probability of the assets, as well as their current condition (anomalies and tests). This practice enables us to plan for short-term maintenance or long-term renewal, prioritizing activities accordingly.
Operational planning
Our operational planning involves using more suitable conductive materials for each piece of equipment, and our preventive maintenance plans contribute to system safety and the maintenance of appropriate load levels, in accordance with the regulatory parameters established by ANEEL. In this way, we work to minimize technical losses during transmission through the lines and transformation at the substations.

Only basic network assets are considered. ONS/ANEEL calculates the indicator for equipment families, which combine type and voltage level. The consolidated results presented are the average of the subordinate families. Data is accumulated until December 2023. The calculation methodology for greater accuracy of the indicators involves using the results published by ONS for transmission functions on a monthly basis, instead of using SIGO to calculate the indicators.
